The LabStrong D0815LS cartridge is comparable to the Thermo Scientific Barnstead D0815 cartridge. Side-by-side testing shows fantastic results for purity and longevity. The LabStrong water purification cartridge is used with the Thermo Scientific Barnstead B-Pure and Bantam water purification systems. The LabStrong cartridge is also used in cooling loops. LabStrong takes extra care in sealing our water purification cartridges to ensure exceptional quality is maintained throughout the two year shelf life. This cartridge is sealed in a military specification vapor barrier foil Mylar bag, which dramatically inhibits drying out of the resin. The LabStrong GSX28LS O-Ring Canister Gasket, which is comparable to the Thermo Scientific Barnstead GSX28 O-Ring, is sold separately.

Thermo Scientific Barnstead recommends using a cleaning syringe to sanitize their water purification systems when the system is new or when installing new cartridge packs. The cleaning solution minimizes the risk of bacterial contamination in Thermo Scientific Barnstead water purification systems. The syringe features a clear barrel with bold scale markings, tapered plunger rod for ease of aspiration, and positive plunger rod stop. The syringe has an added Luer-Lok thread for increased secure connection.
